Dry Gulch Steakhouse: Experience Legendary Steaks & Old School Charm in Prescott

I would highly recommend! The band played good songs and they were great , but not too loud to talk, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was fun and very old West! We loved it.

Had a wonderful lunch here last Saturday. It's a small place, well cared for. Clean, dusted and tidy. We had the handcut 12 oz ribeye steak and a au jous sandwhich. It was awesome. Steak was phenomenal! We will definitely return. I especially love that there is a place in town to get a great steak before dinner 4-5pm.lunch starts at here 11am.

Had a wonderful lunch here today! The rustic atmosphere was the perfect place for a Cooked to perfection Ribeye steak and out of this world garlic fries! Lucinda is the owner and she waited on us personally with fabulous service! I told her this is my new Honey Hole for Prescott! Don’t miss this restaurant if you’re in the area!

I accidentally found out about this place and boy was I surprised on how great of an experience I had. Very intimate atmosphere that feels like you are being invited in to share a meal inside someone's home. Lucinda is the owner operator who also tends bar. She makes a mean and tasty margarita. It is a house specialty. Laura is their lead server and also tends bar. She provides quality service with a smile. Definitely check out the smoked wings and fried mushrooms on the munchies menu. Go with the Filet or Rib eye for steaks and pair with with their green chile mac n cheese! So stop by say hi, grab a drink and enjoy a delicious meal, you won't be disappointed!! Cheers all.

The Dry Gulch is a great spot — the food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place was warm and inviting. However, parking is definitely an issue — it’s limited and hard to come by, so plan ahead if you’re visiting during peak hours. The waiting area could use some improvement too. When you first walk in, you’re standing right behind tables where people are already eating, which makes it feel a bit awkward, especially if you end up waiting 20–30 minutes for a table. Despite those small inconveniences, the great food and service make The Dry Gulch well worth the visit!

Food was pretty good, the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was excellent, be sure to ask for extra strawberry sauce. The onion rings were hot and delicious. The service was really good! They have COKE products which is great but the soda machine needs to be calibrated. This was our first visit, when entering through the entrance there is a large wooden gentleman holding a “please wait to be seated sign!” Which we did, a large party arrived after us and walked straight past us. We waited but no staff stopped by to escort us to a table, finally we walked to the bar and were able to be seated. Others walked in a just sat down at an empty table. If there is an actual process for getting seated perhaps they should make it clearer.

Traditional Western steakhouse with the front room a saloon feel with a band, as well as table seating for dining plus a quiet back room that was perfect for good conversation I had the Prime Rib, which was good, but not great. I like mine with a more flavorful crust. The loaded baked potato side was fantastic and highly recommended. I’d go back again.
